    Cathy Owen Elected 2018-19 Chairman of the Arkansas Bankers Association

    Cathy Owen, Chairman of Eagle Bank, became the 128th Chairman of the Arkansas Bankers Association and first woman to lead the organization. She also serves as Chairman & CEO of State Holding Company, Managing Partner of One Financial Centre, also serves on the Board of H & M Realty and Hastings Holdings.

    Owen currently serves on the Baptist Hospital Foundation Board as Chairmen-Elect and Secretary to the Executive Committee, the North Little Rock Chamber of Commerce Executive Committee, the Arkansas Inland Maritime Museum Foundation, and Fifty For the Future. She has served as an Arkansas State Fair Talent & Queen Judge for the past twelve years. She is a past Chairman of the North Little Rock Chamber of Commerce, President of the Arkansas Arts Center Fine Arts Club, and an Alumna of the National Security Forum Air War College.

    Owen and her husband have two adult children, Steven Owen, Jr. and Sara Owen Holliday.

    The Arkansas Bankers Association was established in 1981. It is the state’s largest and oldest banking industry organization and represents banks, bank holding companies, and savings & Loans in Arkansas.
