    Protecting Your Confidential Information

    Dear Valued Eagle Bank customer, we wanted to share with you a few tips and ways in which you can help protect your personal and account confidential information.  Scams are on the rise and the fraudsters are getting more successful in obtaining information from people.  Please see tips below on how to protect your information and account.

    Use caution before clicking on any links that are within emails or texts that you receive.  Remember, on emails you can always ‘hover over’ the links to verify that they include the company name and are not directing you to an unknown URL.

    Remember, Eagle Bank will never contact you and ask you for the following:

    • Your account number
    • Your PIN
    • Your Online Banking User ID or Password
    • To install the Eagle Bank app on your device

    Another way that you can protect your account is by downloading and using the SecurLOCK Equip App, you can get this from your App Store.

    This App allows you the ability to protect your debit card.  With SecurLOCK Equip you can:

    • Prevent fraud if your card is lost or stolen
    • Control spending by setting limits on withdrawals or transactions
    • Customize spending ability by online, mobile, or in-store purchases
    • Block international or out-of-area transactions

    You can simply turn your card on and off in real time, if needed, or customize your card by setting permissions for transactions by location or buying channel. You can also set the App to send you alerts so you will always know when your card is in use.
